Ralph Lauren’s clothes are timeless. Yesterday I strolled through the airport and stopped in at the Polo store. The white jodphurs in the window called my name. They didn’t have white but I was shown jodphurs in sleek, stretchy fabric in black and in navy.
Lauren’s been doing great jodphurs for decades. This year Lauren celebrates his 50th anniversary. The designer threw a big shindig in Central Park during New York Fashion Week. I thought we’d take a look at the American maestro’s fashion touchstones.
